Today’s prompt has a short answer, although getting to it will take thought. Pick your top few defining phrases. What is your purpose?
“Pick your top few defining phrases”, is an exercise taken from Danielle LaPorte’s The Fire Starter Sessions. She recommends choosing three or four words that encapsulate how you want to feel and who you are meant to be – what you are ultimately striving for – and keeping them close to you, reminding yourself of them often.
Pull from your brainstorming yesterday. Play around with different combinations of words. Remember, their meaning doesn’t need to be 100% obvious to anyone else, but it DOES need to be deeply clear and meaningful to you.
For example, here’s how I want to feel: Vibrant. Resilient. Stable. Upright.
